"Flocreated" in early 1971, somewhere around Hobe Sound, Florida, raised by a custom boat builder and a marine canvas seamstress on the Gulf of America in the Florida Keys, boat building was deeply ingrained in my childhood.

As a boy getting beers for the boys after a hard day’s work in the shop was my first job. Fetching beers quickly advanced to sweeping floors and before long the broom was ditched for a grinder and so began the move up the veritable fiberglass ladder. It wasn't too long before I was learning how to mix resin and laminate fiberglass.  Then we moved on to templating for Bulkheads and Stingers and bonding them in place giving the boats their structure. 

Today we have continued the tradition of custom hand-built boats using the techniques that were instilled in me from childhood. Just like in the old days, the boats are built one at a time to customer specifications making no two boats alike.
